The business world and what schools didn't teach you about business (Titus Mireri):

Titus dismisses the idea of school and education and the mental attitude of working hard and getting a job and goes ahead to promote the idea of entrepreneurship as a secret to success.

In his book divided into 12 chapters, he explains how you cannot build wealth working with your only two hands on the supposed ‘job’ everyone is after. Though from the third world perspective you will find this book very idealistic on what can be done for change and personal development as a whole.

Your brain is your certificate: Although Titus had a first class degree in accounting he realized that school didn't teach him how to get the millions he had learned how to count but his brain could. He went ahead to leave his papers and focused on reading business related books and attend financial seminars. This is how you can create wealth too. Reading books, finding mentors and financial seminars can be of good help and keep you on the journey to becoming millionaire.

School wastes our most precious time: We finish school when we have used up all our youthfulness enthusiasm and ability to handle risks and the entrepreneurial spirit however it is never late to start. Studies have related aging with drop of risk management hormones like dopamine that is usually packed in high levels during sour youthfulness. This levels keep doping limiting our ability to learn faster and bear more risk as we get older. When school uses up this valuable time most end up doing what seems fit as told by the majority, marry, get settled and have a realistic life and expectations. Though these chains can be broken, it is quite hard to handle pressure from our social groups of being 'normal' rather than adventurous life.

School is outdated: If a school would be changing according to the needs of the 21st-century entrepreneurship would be its first priority. School winch was designed with industrial age values prioritizing mass control and production only teaches the same things, the same way, to all pupils with different interest and walks of life. This problems has to be acknowledged in the school system and corrected.

Job security is a lie: With the growth of human population and advancement of technology jobs are a rare and a thing of the past and soon we are going to lack them. If everyone wants them yet no one is looking up to creating them. Machines are getting smarter too leaving many jobs that only men could do being replaced by them. This poses a risk that should motivate you to be an entrepreneur and create jobs that will save our economy in future.

You can’t be truly rich as an employee: Statistics by Forbes back him up as only entrepreneurs show up. Though employees may earn quite much especially from first world economies like the US, they do not have control over their time and money thus are only highly paid slaves.

You don’t need the government or an employer: Though the latter may help you raise capital, they are not reliable as they help you with deprivation of freedom and tour time thus a higher price to pay for safety and security.

You can be an entrepreneur: Everyone with the right advice and encouragement can pursue any path of life as in a career or personal achievements. To be an entrepreneur one needs only advice from books and the right people.

Differentiate yourself for success: By copying other businesses you cannot succeed thus investigate whether the current businesses are providing what the customer needs do market survey and establish a business that offers what the others don’t

You can’t see money with your eyes: You need a dream and vision to succeed in business.

You can't be rich with your two hands: two hands and one brain are too small for success, a team is needed to create the workforce and the skills required to achieve as much as is needed in wealth creation.

You can’t be rich working for money: Trading your hour for money have 24 hour daily limits, if there's anyone who can work all day, rather you need to be making, rather manufacturing money but never working for it since you can do that even when you sleep meaning you need more hands and minds. This is supported by the 'Rich dad poor dad' Robert Kayasoki's book. The poor works for money while the rich, money works for them.

Life is red and green: You are either happy or sad, rich or poor, either hot or cold and not lukewarm so choose your destiny and work hard to achieve it.

School the smart deceiver that I have ever seen: School pretends to teach what we need to know yet it gives us lots of unnecessary theory which we don’t need. Education is a matter of becoming smarter, wiser and more knowledgeable and involve learner change of mind, meaning inner growth of mind and change of behavior.
